FTR Visuals has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Photographer to join a dynamic team of graphic and visualisation specialists.
You will play a pivotal role in our creative team, taking technical photographs for a wide range of clients and projects. The projects we work on are based all around the country so you must be willing to travel around the UK. You will also be required to support the visualisation consultants with graphic work.
This role is ideal for photographers looking to work for a specialist visualisation company on a wide range of projects including renewable energy and residential developments.
About FTR Visuals
FTR Visuals is a specialist visualisations consultancy, providing bespoke imagery services to the renewable energy and commercial industries. We specialise in a range of small and large scale developments, from renewable energy to commercial property offering a wide range of visualisation services including wirelines, photomontages and 3D imagery.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with clients and the wider FTR team to discuss the images required and how they want to use them
- Attend site visits to take a variety of photos from several viewpoints. As a lot of our projects are renewable energy projects this will require walking across fields, up hills and on private property
- Arranging access, planning site visits with the clients and organising the logistics including travel and transport
- Use of an extensive range of technical equipment, including cameras and survey equipment
- Editing photographs as required using software including Photoshop and InDesign
- Work with the wider FTR Visuals team once the photos have been produced on the final reports for clients
Requirements
- A degree or relevant experience in landscape photography
- Experience in taking technical photographs from various viewpoints
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure without compromising on quality
- Willing to travel to site and client meetings
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
- Drone pilot UK License (Not essential)
